ECISD Elementary Gymnastics Discover Your Talent.

Represent Your School. Compete for the City Championship!

The Permian High School Gymnastics Program is excited to provide elementary students across Ector County ISD with the opportunity to experience the sport of gymnastics through their school's elementary gymnastics program!

Whether you're new to gymnastics or already have experience, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills, represent your school, and compete against other elementary gymnasts throughout the district.

How to Participate

Step 1: Get Involved at Your Elementary School

Students can participate in their school's elementary gymnastics unit.

Beginning August 10, 2026, elementary coaches will begin preparing for tryouts, identifying interested students, and organizing their school gymnastics teams.

Students interested in competing should speak with their school's PE coach about participation and tryout opportunities.

Step 2: Compete at the Zone Meets

September 28 – October 1, 2026

The Permian High School Gymnastics Program will host a series of Zone Meets, bringing together elementary schools to compete in gymnastics.

These meets give students the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain competition experience, and represent their schools.

The top qualifying gymnasts from each zone will advance to the City Championship!

Step 3: Qualify for the City Meet

October 8, 2026 | Permian High School (Girls Level 2- Boys Level 3)

The top qualifying elementary gymnasts from across ECISD will come together at Permian High School to compete in the Elementary Gymnastics City Meet.

This exciting championship event celebrates athletic achievement, school pride, sportsmanship, and the hard work of our young gymnasts.
